Road King Died, crank, no start, black smoke
Posted in engine section but didn't get anything yet. I'm in a hurry because I'm moving out of state and am loading the truck on sunday.
so,
I am moving to phoenix Monday morning. I just started my bike to run somewhere and right as I was pulling out of my driveway it died. I tried starting it again and it would crank but not turn over. after a second it popped and blew a good amount of black smoke out of the intake. (I have the heavy breather so it was pretty well visible.) I am stressing because my bike was supposed to be my main transportation while in phoenix. Anyone able to help me and point me in the right direction? Should I do a compression test and see what its at? would it be a valve issue? I'm just trying to figure out my options and what my first step should be. No check engine lights, oil lights, etc.
