Default Rear caliper sticking on my 1993 FLH

I took the back wheel off to do something else. When I put the wheel and caliper back on the wheel turned. After I applied the brake pedal, the caliper is stuck and no matter what I do it won't let go. I tried to pull the back wheel, but now even with the axle out the wheel won't come out of the caliper. I tried releasing some brake fluid and that didn't help. I emptied the master cylinder and it still won't release. I'm stumped. Thanks

Default caliper woes

Sorry for your dilemma. I had this happen on a vehicle one time. I removed the bleeder screw and forced the piston back with a long screwdriver. Once I had some clearance I was able to remove the caliper completely for inspection. Good luck.

You may have cocked the pistons a bit so now the pads are wedged against the rotor. With your brake resevoir (sp?) open you might try slipping a wide blade putty knife between the brake pad and rotor and gently push the pad against the piston to reseat the piston.
