I think the rubber seal in my front fluid reservior is busted as I was on the freeway and the front brakes worked, then didn't work, etc. I was replacing my front wheel and I pushed the pads back in the caliper to get the caliper over thge wheel. Does this sound like my problem? I'm gonna open it up tomorrow to see. Too late now...
I would remove the master-cylinder cap, install a vacuum hose on the bleeder screw(s). Thenopen the bleed screw(s). Catch the fluid in a bottle and pour in fresh fluid until it`s running out from the bleed screw(s)
Close the screw(s) and perform the bleed process with the mighty vac. Check the M/C boot and seal. After you properly bleed the the system you should have no pressure problems. If you do,buthave no external leaksyou may have a M/C plunger seal bypass/internal leak.[8D]
It does make it just a bit more easy to have the vac tool......but I never use one, and never had a problem with bleeding the brakes on a motorcycle. If you can reach the lever and the bleeder valve at the same time....why do you need the vac tool?

Air gets trapped in the calipers above the bleeder screws. The vac pump can removeit from the system with great results and less hassle. JMO
