Mine works great also, I use it for what its made for. Get to destinations plays music, gets me home when i get lost. I dont need it to blue tooth or make my own routes ahead of time. I use it for what its for. Dont expect miracles from it at all. If OP is that fed up with it, sell it and go get a victory and see what issues it has. As far as a class action suite goes, Im with the pig farm guy no need.

It might be a low voltage problem.
Perhaps you could do like Scotty on the Enterprise "We need more POWER!" and provide the Nav System with at least 240 volts.
If that doesn't fix it, call the Dealer to come get it. The intermittent issue should be constant then, and they should have something to hang their hat on...

Unles you were one of the first five buyers of a Rushmore it was pretty easy to figure out the info system sucks at times.i knew that when I bought mine. It still has more feature than the info system on my old Road King pic a dealer and just keep taking it back sooner or later it will probably get better. Mine works fine, I turn it on and my iPod plays. I don't ride a motorcycle to stare at a screen. I carry a map which I hardly ever use because before I go on a trip I look at it. If I'm out riding back roads and get lost I pull over and switch to map just to see where I'm at then look at my map. It's an adventure.... Or you can wait for the harley simulator to come out . You know, the one where you never really leave home but are all wired up to electronic digital gizmos and the ride goes perfectly in your head .

Just go buy an old Harley, and discover what it is to ride a motorcycle, not a two wheeled SUV.

You go into any court in the land and say you're suing Harley Davidson Corporation for producing a product with poor design features compared to competing brands and you'll be laughed out of the courthouse. Harley isn't exactly known for cutting edge technology. I love my Harleys; they're all I ride. But, if you're interested in flawless performance with all the latest in technology you might look at another brand.
