I just bought a 2015 cvo road glide ultra. The Navigation locks up constantly, the Bluetooth doesn't work half the time, and the Harley Davidson dealership POI function does not know where 90% of the dealerships actually are. I take it to a couple of dealers, they tell me there is nothing they can do, just call the number in the back of my owners manual and complain to them. They also tell me it is a very common problem. I would like to see how many on here, would join in on a lawsuit against Harley? I paid for a bike that functions, not to fight problems on a bike less than a month old.
Wow! Lawsuit already. I am not saying your issue isn't frustrating, new bike and all, but before you ramp it up to lawsuit, have you called the number to complain.
I'm not ready for a lawsuit yet. Just feeling things out. After speaking with the Dealerships I'm not feeling good about getting my problems fixed another way. I'm going to call them tomorrow. I willing to bet a bunch of others are having the same issue.
2015 SGS for me, Bluetooth has always worked (always stream music), I've used the locate dealer successfully 2 out of 2 times so far and nav has been fine a few times too with no failures. I am on the latest software (iphone and the Harley software) though and have been since they release updates. Maybe I'd see more issues if I took a long road trip longer than my usual few hour local rides.
Out of curiosity, where are you keeping your phone for the Bluetooth connection?
I've seen others here complain about those things and I'd be frustrated too if it was happening to me. Just sharing another perspective.
I talked to 2 dealers in New York while on a road trip. The only thing moco lets them do is install the latest update, and pull a fuse to reset it. It locks up about every 5min. I was told they don't keep the radios in stock, and Harley won't let them replace them.
yeah, that's unacceptable for any new vehicle much less a new CVO. Know anything about the lemon laws in your state? Hoping you get somewhere when you call tomorrow.
I love my Road King windshield. It always works and just needs the occasional cleaning. It provides plenty of entertainment and blocks all my calls. LOL. K.I.S.S.
