Default Chrome rotor

As I begin my chrome-front end part list for my 11' Road King, does anyone have a recommendation as to what chrome rotor is best? I know I don't want the surface area where the brake pads touch to be chrome, but the non-contact area. If I'm redoing the forks and covers, I might as well do it right. Thanks in advance!

When I did my chrome front end I ordered some aftermarket chrome rotors online. They looked good but when I put them on and applied the front brake I would get pulsating from the rotors being out of round. Ended up buying a stock set that were chromed on e-bay. No problems now. I put Lyndall brake pads on because they don't dull the chrome finish as bad as other brands.

I went with teardrop polished SS rotors from DNA. These are the cheap(ish) one piece non-floating units I paired with EBC organic (kevlar) rotors. They look awesome and so far work well.

Harley rotors are polished. I'm satisfied with them.

I've got some real sweet rotors from Renegade Wheels, no issues what so ever.

Do not get chrome, get polished SS. They look better and the shine lasts, no peeling. I have stock polished SS rotors from Ricks plating. 2 years and 20k miles and they still look great.

Bingo!! Do NOT get chrome rotors. As said above, polished from Rick is the way. I've never messed with my rotors once I put them on. Just wiped them down with the same Simple Green rag I wipe down my wide whites with when it's on the jack. No maintenance at all and still shiny as the day I put them on.....5 years ago. Just my experience.

These are HD Thunderstar full floaters, The only ones they had at the time that look good on a stock Street Glide wheel. They're chrome with polished stainless steel. They do make a little sound from the drilled holes like a soft zzzzzzzz. I have Lyndall Z+ pads. Got a great price on em from Kutter. Dont know if thats still available now.
