Thumbs up Awesome new stereo for the Street Glide..

Wanted to give you guys a heads up on a new stereo I just installed in my Street Glide. It's the Aquatic AV Harley Davidson replacement radio.

This thing is awesome. Very easy to install. It's all plug and play. Simply remove your stock stereo, slide in the Aquatic AV stereo, plug in the stock connectors and antenna and you're done. I had a little extra work because I had to wire up my saddle bag speakers. Total install time: 30 min.

This baby has 288 watts (72 watts per channel)and uses the handlebar controls to control the stereo just like the stock unit.

It has Bluetooth, USB drive, and an Aux port. All in-cased behind the removable face plate. It has a tray that your phone or Ipod lays in and the USB port can be used for charging your Bluetooth device or for playing music from a jump drive. I'm using the jump drive now and it works great.

The screen displays the artist, album, and song info. If you use an Iphone or Ipod it will display the album as well.

It's also completely waterproof as well.

Check out the waterproof test by Dragonfly Cycle Concept

Checkout all the spec at: http://www.aquaticav.com/harley/

If you're in the market for a new stereo give this a good look.
I was able to pick on up on Ebay for $350.

288 watts. That's hilarious.

Cute lil' video, esp if you're playing your music while not riding but how does that compare when you're on the road and doing 85 MPH?

Thanks for the post but I'll keep my full Biketronics system, Sony HU and water proof cover plate.

Thanks for the laugh.

That's what I was thinking; 42 watts max output at 4 ohms with no distortion spec, With only 2 volt RCA outputs. Allow me to not be empressed. But if the op is happy, That's what's important. Enjoy

Man, y'all are a tough crowd. Didn't know we had so many audiophiles on here. If the OP is happy then good for him. It was a good post and I always like hearing about new products even if I'm not in the market.

I still have the OEM stereos on my bikes... Don't kill me for not being more "advanced". Lol
