I'm going to look those Danny Grays up.
Yeah mine is barely over 100 lbs but still don't want to hear any lip. Happy wife, happy life.

Trust me, momma puts out!

Stretched bags will change the way you ride no denying that, but you can still have fun.
I understand you wanting a 23 but it will not handle like a 21. The 21 done right handles just like a stock bike. Sometimes you have to compromise. Good luck

If you want a good ride that "doesn't affect riding and cornering", your best decision will be to FORGET about huge front wheels that change the geometry of the bike and ride it pretty much "as it comes from the factory" (wheel and geometry-wise).

You'll save a -TON- of money, as well.
Particularly if you ever decide to sell it.

If ya like the look of big wheels and stretched bags, go for it. But if you care about cornering, don't! Proper shocks and forks can give a comfortable ride but stretched bags destroy lean angle and big wheels need raked forks that only like going straight. I have had about all the combos and my current bike may be my last. It is stock height with stock bags but it does have a 17/21 wheel combo and of course upgraded suspendtion, seat and bars; oh yeah and engine... It just matters what is important to you.

Ride it for a while and see what you want to change after you have lived with the glide for a few months. I like the Hammock seat by Harley and its great for both rider and passenger.

That's Def the plan. My plan is to wait til the beginning of November. If you've never been to the Lone Star Rally in Galveston it is a must. My favorite event every year by far. Beats the big boat poker runs, holidays, birthdays. ..etc. We go every year but this year will have new purpose. We always walk thru all the vendors selling bags, tanks, rims and whatnot but this year it's on!

Big rallies are great places to check out stuff. I have been going to Daytona Bikeweek for 40 years now and walking around the vendor areas you get to see lots of options. Sturgis is great too but being 2000 miles away, only have ridden out that way 3 times over the years.
