LED headlights
I'm an LED freak, I have the first Gen Harley headlight and driving lights on my bike, they put out plenty of light, I've had them for 3 years now, is there anything on the market out there that's better than the original HD lighting?
I had a Trucklite LED on my old bike, at the time it was good. I'm looking at cost too! is ti worth the expense to upgrade if I choose?

I have been running the trucklite LED's for several years, and I love them. I will spend the money and have them on every bike from here on out, or until someone comes out with something better. I have not had the new Daymaker lights, but everything that I have read says that the trucklites are still better.
As for expense, they are not cheap. You can find them on Ebay new for about $160 for headlight only (assuming you haven't added spotlights). I had to buy all three at about $450 back when I got mine. I debated for quiet a while before spending that type of money on just lights. I finally figured that I ride enough in the dark that it was worth it if it kept me from hitting just one deer. The first week I had them in, they did just that. Well worth the money in my opinion.

Difficult query to answer! LED lights have come on leaps and bounds in a very short time, from being pretty awful to being awesome! We have them as OE in a year old car and they have to be seen to be believed.
I have all three Trucklites for my Glide, to replace my first generation HID light. That was fabulous as a daytime light, with a very wide dip beam, but awful at night in the dark. With my older bike (and fewer spare watts available) I can run all three TLs all the time, with the spots set to broaden their visibility for other road users.

Just installed JW Speaker Evo 2 on my SGS and love it. They make the HD Daymaker, however, the daymaker is an outdated old design. The EVO 2 is updated and about 1/2 the price. They also make LEDs for the passing lamps, too. 4wheelparts.com has the best price I've found.
Take a look at http://www.cyron.com/p-209-headlight...les-abh4k.aspx
I have the both the headlight and running lights and very pleased with them.

Being an "LED freak"...For auxiliary driving light, you might like these (in addition to your passing light). Stealth LED Driving Lights and the price is right!

Also pictured above are the Stealth LED Turn Signals/White Running Lights
You may really like the Stealth LED Saddlebag R-B-T Lights
