YEP looks exactly like my Trucklite. TruckLite uses distributors like Kuryakyn and apparently GE. I don't think we can buy directly from Trucklite.

re: the GE Nighthawk LED light
Somebody mentioned that this is the same as the Trucklite. OK, so if it is, that just lowered my opinion of the Trucklite (and you know, I'm definitely opinionated.)

Here's why. I seldom hear anyone talking about the beam pattern. Yes, LEDs are bright - no doubt about that. But it's a fact that cars/trucks and motorcycles have different requirements for optimal beam pattern. When you see one light listed for both types of vehicle, it's a sure bet it's a jack of all trades, but master of none. You're just not going to get a pattern thats optimal for a motorcycle from a car/truck light (and vise-versa).

What we really need is an in-depth, scientific comparison of the different LED replacement lights available for motorcycles. that's the only way we're really going to separate the BS from Reality. Until then, it's the Wild, Wild West out there.

(opinion) Buy a light specifically designed for motorcycles ONLY. If it doesn't say so - research, research, research!! Personally, I'm running a 1st generation Harley LED. I see they've improved it with their 2nd generation LED. There are lots of Companies advertising LED bike lights - some good, so not so good. (Even the worst LED lights are better than those stupid HID conversion kits!)(/opinion)
