Default Windshield fitment Question

Will a windshield from an 08 Ultra fit a 2014 Ultra? Part numbers are different so I'm assuming no.

Windshields 14 and up will not fit anything 13 and down.

When HD redesigned the 14 to add the vent, they changed the fairing & windshield at the same time. On the 96-13 windshield, the holes are further out & the bottom tabs are to close together to fit. In addition, the 14+ windshield is a little wider than the 96-13 is.

I guess the part number difference was the first clue.

Tried a Klockwerks Flare, didn't like it... went with a Fast Aire Aero & it works very good.

You can place your stock 14+ over your 13- shield, trace the new holes and re-mill it to work with the newer bikes. Several people on the forum have done it.

That doesn't always mean the parts won't interchange.
