Default Battery Recommendations - 2010 FLH

The battery on our 2010 FLH (Electra Glide Classic) appears to be dead (even though always on a Battery Tender). Bike lights light up (not headlamp) but not even a blip from the starter.

Anyway, any suggestions on the best battery (best, best value)?

Thanks tons!!!

Jack

This is a good start. X-rated is the same a Deka, Big Crank, etc. They are 400A. Verify your size.

You might find one still for under $100. I got mine at my local Battery Warehouse for about $100.

Big Crank gets good reviews and has a great warranty.

Default Try Lithium

I got a Lithium battery from advanced about a year ago. Weighs next to nothing and had a 20% off coupon for signing up. Here's what I got. It was the LFP8

Lithium batteries are good, but you need one have a specific battery tender for them.

I'm using this one and so far it's holding up fine. Keep it on a tender and with my Easy Start S&S Cams it cranks it over in less than 2 seconds, every time, hot or cold.

For $90 delivered to your door you can buy 2 for about the price of the HD branded ones.

It's not cheap but couple weeks ago I picked up a interstate for a friend. They have a new one for Harleys 500cca & it has better terminals than my 400cca I got a year ago.

Thank you everyone, I am overwhelmed by the quality, quanity, and speed at which you replied. I appreciate the links, and will probably go with the Big Crank or Mega Crank. Thanks again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
