I agree with the HD tax but I have found many MOCO items at very good sales prices including boots and helmets. If you don't need right away try going to a few local dealers. Only downside to online is it may not fit. Every helmet brand has a different shape and fit IMHO

If you look inside the helmet there should be a sticker saying what brand it is. Hopefully that will help you narrow down the model so she can order one and be sure of the same fit

I know Harley uses HJC, Shark, and Bell. Someone suggested Revzilla. I would try them for helmets. Prices aren't bad and unlike most helmet sales, all sales are not final. If you get it and don't like it, they will take it back, swap it out, or refund your money with no restocking fee or anything.

Check the P&A section of the Harley website; if the helmet model you looked at is listed there it will tell you the manufacturer of the helmet.

I bought this helmet on clearance a month before I bought my bike. It seemed appropriate for my profession. I've since switched from contacts to progressive lens with photo greying lenses. The don't get dark enough to be effective sunglasses. So I'm looking for a 1/2 or 3/4, probably 1/2, helmet with built in sunshield. Looking at Bell Pit Boss and HJC IS Cruiser. Anyone have other suggestions?

I have a Pit Boss, it's the best 1/2 I've tried for fit.

How hard is it to switch out the sunshield on the Pit Boss?

I got a Pit Boss for Christmas but it doesn't fit. Like the concept but its sitting on the shelf collecting dust.
