I hard wired them. I put them on my street glide and I never switched them off so I wasn't concerned about a switch. I will take a front shot and post. I'm considering a bluetooth amp in the saddlebags for music. My lowers still have the speakers in them.

in that case did you just tie into the head light wire behind the necklace? I have already hard wired my headlamp verses using the HD adapter so I could just use that junction. On the turn signals did you pull the wire down from the handler bars or are there more plugs provided somewhere?

Yes I tied into the headlight and I cut the wires to the turn signals leaving as much length as possible under the nacelle. It was pretty simple and easy. Harley wanted 4 hours labor.

So the 21" fit with no fender changes/mods?
Looks great

I used the Arlen Ness Fender adapter/riser. It raises the fender about an inch. It comes in black or chrome and looks factory when installed. They make cheaper ones for $40-50 but didn't like the way they looked. Thanks

Also since I used the Harley breakout wheel it's a softail wheel with only a brake on the left side, so I made my road king a single front disc brake. Not sure you noticed but there's no brake rotor or caliper on the right side. I like that you can see the entire wheel. Just had to change the brake line from the ABS module to a single line. ABS sensor runs off of the bearing on the left side so it functions properly with only the left side brake. My local HD service tech helped me with questions during the process.

I didnt notice that it was single disk. Is there anything that can be done to leave dual disk with this rim?
Appreciate the help

I rode a Road King for 10 years and 60k miles. I sold it to my buddy in 2012 who still has it. Bought a Fatboy Lo in 2014 and hated it, so I traded it on my '15 SGS in 2015.

I was at the dealer today picking up new rotor bolts (getting wheels powder coated). They didn't have a RKS in sight. I guess it's the new "hot bike". They had one 2017 vivid black "used" one in the back with only 200 miles. Guy traded it in for an '18 CVO Road Glide. They are asking $21,900 and I told them that is the price of a new one. I'm sure I could get them off of the price and get a good price for my SGS. I really like the RKS but really like my SGS too. Probably wait until after Daytona Bike Week to decide after getting reacquainted with my SGS.

What kind of sissy bars are y'all running? I've got a standard detachable for mine, but I'm thinking I'd like something that looks a little more "Special" for mine.

I had one of these on my Wide Glide and liked it...but I'm not sure how it would look on the 'King...
