V&H FP3 Won't connect to Vance & Hines server
Had my FP3 come in yesterday, hooked it up this afternoon, recognized the bike and paired no problem, did the firmware update on the fuelpak and everything looked good until I clicked on 'Map Lookup' and it gets stuck at "Connecting to Vance & Hines..."
Tried with wifi off / on... cycled power etc... Did I speed test on my phone and I had no connection problems.
Next step is calling V&H support which I heard is great, but they are closed until Monday.
Anybody had same issue and solved the problem?

I believe this is the first thing they recommend, ALSO turn off the wifi and do it all through the phone service.. I know my wifi in my garage was less than perfect when I installed the FP3 on my switchback back in 2014 and had similar issues until I shut down wifi and just used my data plan

Might want to check that no other Bluetooth devices are fighting with the FP for connection to your phone. I went for a while connected to both FP and BT audio device, but recently started having intermittent FP connection issues with that setup. Eliminating the BT audio device has fixed it for now. Fairly certain my particular case is due to phone firmware, but not positive yet.
