Need opinions, may trade Cvo Road King for a Road King Special
I have a 2014 Cvo Road King, but ever since Harley did their inspirational galley Road King and then released the Road King Special I've been tempted to trade it in. I know many people don't like it but I do. Just seeing if anyone else has moved from a 110 to a 107. Did you regret it, power or reliability wise. Here's a photo of mine and one of a Special I got off the net. Sorry posted this in the m8 forum also, just wanted the more replies.

dude, your cvo is sweet. you've already got much of the same stuff that is on the rks. you're only missing the m8 engine. everything else is better, wheels, lights, paint, gauges, etc. if you want to make your bike more like a rks, just black out a few items instead of chrome, and you're there.
go back and look at the two bikes side by side. some of the things that you don't notice at first look, like the shift linkage, floorboard supports, etc. and you'll quickly decide that you'd be giving up too much.

Best advise I can provide is, be your own person and stop relying on what others believe.

It seems that perfection is reached not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Right now you got a 110 CI and it is about as big as you can get, but you can bump up a M8 to 114 CI. Now if its the look that is turning your head, think about what looks better on the special than on the CVO, and can you change it. I wanted an 07 Road King Custom but all i could git was a Road King Classic, so I tossed the running lights and the windshield, and put my blinker lights on my handlebars and there I had better than what I wanted.
