HI Guy, i recently Bought a set of screamin eagle street cannons on ebay, question is the se cannons i have here are a straight threw baffle design is that the way the baffles are suppose to be in these mufflers???? they have the epa stamp on them 80db, but they sure are loud.....

 

Yes, that's how they come. They were designed for the factory catted header.

 

ok thats what i have here, they are really loud at idle and sound very tinny when on the throttle, but quiet down pretty nice at speed, i might check the packing in them to see if someone pulled it out.....

 

Hi. The ones you have were probably run quite a bit before you got them. When I got mine and mounted them I thought that they were almost too quiet. After 15k I am thinking they are too loud...lol. They definitely get louder over miles. Sound good at low rpms, throaty when you get on it a little. I find them a little annoying two up and loaded up at highway speeds. This is where my earplugs come in. I wondered how HD got away with getting them 50 state certified? Overall, I guess I like them though. Good luck. Jim
