putting a 23/26 inch wheel on my bike what part of the warranty does it void
if i put a 23/26 inch wheel on my bike what part of the warranty does it void and why, and is it the putting the wheel on the bike or raking it break the warranty
Modifying your bike doesn't automatically void your warranty. If something happens to your bike it is up to the dealer or MoCo to prove that what you did contributed to or was the immediate cause of the problem.
IF you don't cut your neck, then only things related to the front wheel, neck bearings etc. are going to be rejected. If your motor loses the oil pump they can't blame the front wheel for the motor issue. In 2013 when I did my 26" I had warranty work done with no issue so long as the front end wasn't the problem.
If you cut the neck on your bike, in Wisconsin, it becomes a "salvage bike".
Then they will reject all claims as now the frame has been modified.
