Ill be there!! leaving delaware august 1- 1,784 miles staying in custer for 3 days then moving on to yellow stone and not sure where else ????

 

Heading out on the 5th and planning to arrive on the 7th. We are really looking forward to it. This will be my first time going. Am I to expect big logjams on the interstate even arriving late?

I'm working on the wife pretty hard to let me go this year.I'm hoping to get to ride out with a buddy. He has friends who live near Johnson Siding, SD. This gives us a place to stay. But, I'm not holding my breath!

 

You should not see too big of traffic problems. It is Sun/Mon leaving that is a pain.

Been wanting to go to Sturges for a long time, the wife and I was planning on going this year but she took her early retirment from her last job ( 15 years ) and went to wrok for the postal servece delivering mail. Now she works 6 days a week with no vac. for a year. Unless I can talk her into letting me go by myself??? HMMMMM.[sm=bicker.gif] Not a chance in hell on that.So maybe next year.

 

I'm riding. Thought about trailering, but the 35 mile drive seemed do-able

 

My dad and I ride from San Diego on Aug 1st... Up thru Calif, into Oregon to the Washington state line... Then east thru Idaho, Montana, thru Wyoming and into SD... Then we take the southern route home...

 

Riding from New Liskeard , Ontario or Aug. 1st. I'll be with 6 friends. This will be my first time, I'm really looking forward to it.
