okay guys.... having an issue... went for a ride today, FINALLY.. weather has been so crazy in Indiana.. anyway, parked bike in garage after riding and got back on later this evening to go for a dusk ride.... NO AUDIO. infotainment system boots up, nav works, usb works, Bluetooth works... no audio from speakers. I have fairing speakers only, stage 2 boom audio. any ideas on what could have possibly made them go out suddenly. My first thoughts were:

1. amp went out, but I don't know if that would kill all sound
2. some type of wiring issue, but this isn't my best area to track down.


while out riding this morning, sound was cutting in and out intermittently at times, then would fix itself. Didn't know that it could be a pre cursor to this issue tho... just thought it was a quirk... any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.

 

If the smp goes out you will not have any sound.

you said the sound was cutting in and out. Based on that I would check all the connections.

 

Do you know how I can get my fairing speakers to play, after I've removed the fairing lowers speakers?

 

any info on what happened? Same thing seems to be happening to me
