Learned 3 things on my first 100 mile trip!
Took a ride with the wife to South Mountain State park in NC. 63 miles each way. I learned 3 things.
- I need highway pegs
- I need taller handlebars 12"
- I need better grips. Avon velvets.

He's had it less than 2 months. It's his first Harley coming from sport bikes.
Yes, OP, the first thing a lot of us owners do is make the bike more comfortable. Changing bars, in most cases, is a must, especially if you're 6'4". Maybe you've already answered this, but at your height, why a Low?

Honestly I did not realize the low made that much difference. It was comfortable when I was sitting on it in the dealer and still is on short rides. It was the color, price and options I was looking for. I have already put an extended brake petal with lower angle so I could use the rear brake easier. Getting the Low is the only regret I have I'm just hoping that I can get it more comfortable with a few more mods. I am thinking that a raised seat might make a big difference as well.

Just looked them up. 36 miles from me so not a bad ride at all. They modify your existing seat? I'm wondering if they can do enough to mine to raise it up. Since this is a low model the saddle is slung pretty low.

Yikes! If you are hurting after just a second 60 mile leg, it would seem your setup is way off.
Out here we have to ride 60 miles to the meet up before we ride our required 100 miles before breakfast! Then we start the real ride after breakfast.
Edit: My point isn't really clear. In order to do serious miles you probably need to work hard to get the bike comfortable. I feel it is more art than science. Different seat will affect how arms and shoulders feel. Different bars put your back in a different spot then you need to move the pegs. ARRRRGGGGGGG! Can be maddening. But, when I got mine right I nicknamed my Roadie the Bike-a-lounger.

Check out their Seat Mod page on all they do. Since your seat is a 'low', they can do a stock height (from the std Ultra seat) or raise a bit. Give 'em a call and discuss your wants. They can do just driver seat or both driver and passenger.
