A mentioned, measure the voltage across the battery with the ignition on. Without cranking it should be close to 12v. I wouldn't be surprised if it get 10v on accy and goes to close to 0 when ignition is switched on. If it stays above 12v check the fuses.. Maxi fuse won't be the issue as parking stuff come on. Not much load there.
people have you chasing things all over the bike, yet probably missed this statement.
You replaced the switch yesterday and now the switch doesnt work...
Im not saying you did anything wrong, maybe the switch is bad... but im leaning towards its something that happened when you replaced the switch.....yesterday....
Was the switch working yesterday? What happened that caused you to replace the switch?
No the switch wasn't working. The original one worked up until the other day. That's why I replaced it. But still doing the same thing as it did with the old switch.

Carry on chasing sparks... im no good at it either.
Is there 12 volts there?
Yes? - bad solenoid.or starter.
No?-
OK just keep going backward.
go to the next relay, Breaker, etc, Find who the guilty party is not forwarding the voltage
