Anyone using this HD kit? Is it worth doing?

I do. they claim a 50 degree drop in oil temp but i have no way to confirm this. No complaints so far and i live and ride in florida

mjwebb over on the M8 forum uses one on his RK. You can check with him, but I'm pretty sure that he swears by it, and rides in all sorts of heat.

I just don't understand why HD Don't but it on from the factory.

its such a simple thing to install. hardest part was scheduling the dealer to flash the bike. the wires and connector are already RIGHT THERE!!!!

I have one and love it, should have been done from the factory. I really can't say enough good things about it.

I have one on my 17 RKS, did a trip in July from Port Arthur to El Paso (via Roswell, NM) and back. Going we took 4 days, home we did in about 13 hours (all 865 miles of it) Was 110 when we left El Paso at 3pm, 2 up with a weeks worth of gear at west Texas highway speeds and zero issue with engine heat.

It should come stock on the air cooled models imo.

Just got it installed today and rode home from the dealer in 100 heat. The difference in heat especially on my right leg was substantial. Can definitely recommend and agree it should be on there from factory
