Default Broken Inner Fairing Support

Finally got around to pulling the front fairing off to chase down a rattle, and found a broken inner fairing support bracket. I found the Alloy Art Strong Arm Inner Fairing Support Brackets, but they seem to have mixed reviews. Any opinions on what's the best replacement, or are these legit?

One options is to replace with OEM HD brackets. The HD brackets were redesigned and are now stronger. Or just modify and fix your original brackets.

For a brief moment I considered taking the bracket off and TIG welding a repair, but figured that would take as long as just replacing them both.

The newer design HD brackets are reinforced in multiple places. I don’t think you would ever have to replace them again. Get the short ones that go out to the speakers too. They break sooner or later.

I had the replacement HD brackets put in. Seem to be holding up well after a couple years.

I second (third or fourth) the OE brackets that were redesigned in 09. I replaced both my broken brackets with the HD ones and all is well.
