Hayden M6 Destroyed.
1995 Road King I picked up a couple of weeks ago. Has 17,500 original miles on it. Pulled the outer primary today. From what I can tell it is/ was a M6 adjuster. There was a approximately 1 inch square by 3/16 chunk of aluminum laying in the bottom of primary. Looks like it might have had ears or something at one time. Which I guess was part of what was left of adjuster. I know a lot of people run the M6 with good results. I read good things about the Baker Attitude Adjuster. I think I am going back with the stock setup. Not a big fan of stuff in primary that comes apart. Nothing wrong with stock setup. Just need to check it at oil change time.

Old I've got a 1/2 dozen trashed Hayden adjusters in my odds&ends boxes, those things have always been a gimmick far as I'm concerned. Get the spring tensioned enough it won't slap when you nail it or decel hard it wears the damn things out fast and they end up like you found it.
For those who want to know the aluminium part Old found is what you stuff up under the spring to tension it, they usually came several in a pack .
