What setup are you running in the front?

Pal of mine has had fully adjustable suspension installed on his Dyna Wide Glide. I told him to take care as it would be much faster, but he didn't believe me. A few days later he admitted he had glanced down at the speedo and was doing 100mph, which came as a bit of a surprise, nor did he recall ever going that fast on it before. So it could be argued that decent suspension will make any of our Harleys better, as well as faster!

HD ain't the only one. Most of the stock suspension on motorcycles is crap -- just not quite this crap.
hmmm definitely something to consider. The PO of my 09 ultra classic had ultra shocks 944's in the rear...940 or 944...& the back rides great, never an issue even 2 up & loaded down...now the front is a different story. Get jolted all the time...over potholes that my 01 Intruder 1500 would eat up & u wouldn't even notice. On the surface streets here in Phoenix they like to repave every so many years but the manhole covers are still at the original height so every so often you roll over one of these manhole covers and you're hitting probably a half an inch of new asphalt...

Are you sure FKS212 cartridges were used? ... Did you install longer Tubes at the same time?

You are right -- my fault -- FKC 102 kits -- matched springs +2L Ohlins oil.

And - I'll not say where I got them, but the drop shipped price for both was around $1600 -- so you have a basis for comparison. I believe motorcyclemetal.com was very competitive to this.

I used the FK 101 cartridges in the front and 13” Builds lack Lines in the rear.
Went on a ride today and still impressed with the Ohlins F&R after 40,000 miles.
