I didn’t get the T handle or the oil pan at first. I did latter and wonder how I got by without them.
The handle makes moving and spinning the bike around much easier. If your someone like me that rides the bike into the garage, jacks it up and spins it around so you can ride it back out, you will love the T handle.
I use the oil pan to change all 3 holes. When draining the oil, first loosen the dip stick so air can be drawn in as the oil goes out but leave it in to slow the oil flow. If you pull the dipstick all the way out, the oil can come out so fast it overshoots the pan. Once you figure that out, the drain pan is really nice for changing fluids.
To to answer your question, I’d recommend ordering both with the jack. I don’t think you’ll regret it.

Jack is great for working on your bike and J&S is an excellent one. For changing your oil tho... just get a low profile oil drain pan. Harley's branded version is actually very reasonably priced and great quality.

Had mine for several years now on multiple bikes. Definitely on the T bar, you'll find yourself moving the bike around your garage or work space more than you think. The jack itself should last for a long time provided you use the steel arms that slot into the base of the jack to hold the weight and not the jack itself. the bike is super-stable when lifted too and great for cleaning along with maintenance. You won't regret the purchase!
