Default Headlight adjustment question

I have a 2019 SGS. When I replaced the headlight with a JW Speaker LED and adjusted the angle, I noticed that the headlight was already adjusted near its max upward setting to achieve the factory recommended setting (beam focal point at same height as the headlight at 25'). I'm interested in adding a 13" shock, which presumably will require further adjustment of the light upward.

My question is, is there a way to angle the whole headlight housing a little higher? I think that mine was installed a little low at the factory if that's the case.

Which LED headlight? Is it a Sunpie? If so, there's lengthy discussion going on here - https://www.hdforums.com/forum/touri...eam-issue.html

No, it's a JW Speaker headlight. It's not the headlight. This LED was on my previous SGS with plenty of adjustment room left. Also, the stock halogen light needed about the same angle. I didn't have to move the adjustment much after installing the LED.

Did you have someone take measurements with you on the bike?

Yeah, I sat on the bike and had a friend measure the headlamp height. I marked the wall of my garage at the same height and sat on it to adjust the headlamp angle. But again, the stock halogen lamp's adjustment was barely different from what I needed to set it to for the LED. I'm wondering if there is an adjustment that can be made to the batwing fairing itself or the headlamp housing outside of just the screw adjustment.

As far as I know and from just looking at my service manual, there is nothing saying what to do if you can't get the headlight adjusted properly with the adjustment screws. I'm not aware of any adjustments that can be made to the batwing. Hopefully, someone else will chime in with some ideas. Good luck!

Just a couple thoughts.
It's been awhile since I played with the headlight so I'm not sure if this would work. You might consider a shim between the faring and the bottom of the headlight bucket. It shouldn't have to be very thick.
Or maybe see if there's any play in the faring mounting brackets, again a little is all you should need.
