Default Headlight bezel question

I’m piecing together an 07 RG conversion project. I have the headlights from an 07.....will the 10-13 headlight bezel fit the older style headlights? I do not plan on using the clear bubble lens either way.

I know the 01-09 headlight is a different part# than the 10-13. I was just curious if anyone knows for sure if the bezel will fit or not.

i'm fairly sure the bezel will fit by itself, but i do know that you can do a complete conversion to the 2010 up headlights. which, you can find takeoffs pretty cheap and you would actually benefit from doing. the newer headlights mount from the front back so you don't have to remove your fairing to change the bulbs. also, the headlights were designed to be exposed, so i don't think they'll crack as easily as the older style without the glass bubble to protect them.

when i put the newer daymakers on the wife's bike, i sold the headlight/bezel assembly to a buddy with an 04. fit great on his bike and he's been very happy with the 'updated' look.

Thanks for the reply. That’s the info I was looking for. I’m converting my SG to RG and am piecing it together with what I have for now. I didn’t take into account the setup of the actual headlight housings. I’m on the fence between upgrading to an LED style light so I was planning on making do with what I have for now. Maybe I’ll toss my setup on eBay or CL and just start with a 10+ sertup.
