Oil puking out while running
So, I got a 92 flhtc, it has been sitting for years and needed a lot of work. During all the work to get everything fixed, I changed the oil pump (aftermarket Sifton pump, new oil hoses, filter base, etc. When I finally cranked it up, it ran for a minute or so, then started puking oil out of the line that runs from the case to the breather, and wouldn't quit. Any ideas? Ot shouldn't be the normal "trash in the check valve", I dont think, as it is a new pump, but I may be wrong. Idk.

I understand that after they have been sitting for awhile, moisture builds up diluting the oil and this can then cause the seepage you are talking about - I was test riding some bikes at the dealer last year and the had this happen - (oil through the breather). The sales dude said they just flush the oil to remove residual moisture. This happened on 3 separate bikes - I took longer than usual test rides on the highway - their short run test rides don't let the bike get up to temp so it happened (supposedly) because I ran them (like I would if it were mine)
