A common subject matter on these threads is about the "right seat" so I thought I would share my opinion on my new solo seat from C&C. They claim their seats sit you down 1" and back 1" from stock, and since i am 6'4" tall, they were able to move me back an additional inch from that. I went with leather and diamond stitch on my 07 UC.




The seat just feels better built. Its a firmer seat, but for me, feels so much better on my backside on longer trips (I find myself moving around less). The backrest is adjustable for how much recline you want, which is great bc I have had other seats that felt like the backrest was pushing me forward. Overall I couldnt be happier with the outcome of the look and feel of the seat, and highly recommend you look into these guys if you are in the market for a new seat for your ride.

 

Nice. Following your thread because I have always been interested in a C&C solo. I have a stripped down to street glide 2002 FLHTCI so our frames are the same. I have run a Mustang solo for years and am happy for the most part but love the look of the C&C.

 

Klammer, I would definitely give these guys a shot. Makes the whole ride feel different.. I feel like im sitting down into the bike now, rather than sitting on top of it (which is hard to do bc of my height). Also.. they had this seat delivered within the week that I ordered it. Unreal turnaround time for a custom seat.
