Exclamation Changing plugs on 2017 ultra

In the manual it states to change the spark plugs the gas tank must be removed. Has anyone changed them without removing the tank? If so how? Do I need special tools? Just have the basic. The two on the low side should not be a problem but the two on the high side is a different thing.
