Haven't changed mine yet, but raising/removing the tank is simple. Are you hesitant because of that?

I just changed mine. Take the tank off. It’s very easy. The procedures are outlined in the service manual.

It won't be in there, you need the service manual

You can pull the tank in less than 5 minutes. A no brainer to pull it. The you can clean the bottom of the tank and also have easy access to the top of the motor to do a little detailing while it is off.

On my older bikes 10K was the mileage interval for plugs, however on the M8 my dealer said not to change them till 20k miles.

Good luck hope all goes well.

The service manual says 30k or two years, whichever comes first. But plugs are cheap and it’s easy to do. I figure I’ll do mine every 4 oil changes.

Well there's something I didn't know about M8s. Pull the tank to change plugs.

I think I'm gonna go hug my EVO.
