A Revised Engineering Thought on True Duals
#11
Once you put a cross over in you will lose the awesome sound of the true duels.
I had the same Rineharts that exit rear left on an old framed CVO. The new frame in 09 is when they quit doing that. Imo it is the best sounding Twinkie pipe. Torque is a different story. The shovels and evos have the best sounding engines hands down but that has to do with motor design.

It was an observation and Yes, it would negate the fact that they wouldn not be technically true duals but one added benefit would be the relief of all that heat on one side. You get the true dual look and a more equalized pressure and as far as sound, granted it wouldn't sound exactly the same but a whole lot better than 75 percent of the rear cylinder going out and down to the right with 30 percent going to the left side. Symmetry "does" have its benefits.

I was concerned about a loss of torque with true duals also. I found MGS true duals actually increased torque and horsepower and sound AWESOME !!! Thanks Mike. https://mgsperformance.com/
