Default 2008 Street Glide fork question

I have a 2008 Street Glide and I'm installing chrome fork sliders. Does anyone have the size of the allen bolt at the bottom of the fork for the 41mm forks. From what I understand I will have to use an impact driver and the allen key will need to be 4" to reach the bolt. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

How about a 6mm hex socket on an impact driver?

I've switched several sliders out and it's 50/50 on the impact driver. Don't strip them. If there's the slightest issue go right to the impact.

Does the fork cap bolt have to be removed first before loosening the fork clamp/pinch bolts? Or can I loosen the pinch bolts and slide the entire fork out of the cowbell? Sorry for the dumb questions.

I have removed the fork cap bolt and the 5/8 pinch bolt. The entire fork should slide out but for the life of me it isn't budging. Any suggestions to remove fork? Thanks in advance.

GENTLY drive a large screw-driver into the slot where the clamp screw fits (after removing it), to slacken the grip on the tube. Also use a fluid for freeing rusty screws if there is the slightest hint of rust between the tree and tube, as they may be stuck together.
