Been stalled trying to figure out what to do with the fork lowers. choices were paint, powder coat, plastidip or polish. Finally decided to sand and polish.

Both forks are finished as far as installing the legend cartridges. Things I learned. The fork cap bolt is one and three eights.You would need a crows foot to torque it to 50 ft lbs. You could use a socket if you remove the handle bars. When you're removing the fork remove fork cap bolt, loosen the pinch bolt, slide the fork down till its between the two triple tree brackets, re torque the pinch bolt and then loosen the fork tube plug.Wear safety glasses when adding the fork oil because when you slide the fork tube up and down it will sometimes squirt some oil up out of the lower. The fork cap bolts were only hand tight when I first removed them so I used a large adjustable and guessed on the torque.
