Cold legs
I live in Upstate NY, and plan to ride my Ultra all winter when weather permits.
Dressing for the weather hasn't been a problem thus far, but the one area that gets cold is my upper thighs where they touch the tank (damn, that tanks gets cold below 50 degrees).
Other than wearing chaps (a little awkward, I work at a white collar job), is there anything I can do? Does Harley make any kind of cloth or leather cover that would give me some cold protection?

Try some Under Armour!

Harley does make tank bras, but I'm not sure of the applications in relation to the various models. Just a thought...a snowmobile suit works real well and then you can just take it off when you get to work. Most have zippered legs so you don't even have to remove your footwear.
We got longjohns from the military surplus that are not too bulky, and are warm. They are not going to help you much however, because when you get to work you would have to undress to get them off.
Chaps should be a good option. Just unbuckle, unzip, and put them in you saddle bags when you get to work. If you don't get them skin tight they shouldn't wrinkle you work clothes.
Regards,
Bill
PS. I admire someone that loves to ride enough to go year around in bad weather. My hat's off to you.

I know the feeling exactly! My "fix" was Gerbings heated pants liner... keeps me toasty warm all winter. My commute to work is 40 miles one way from south Jersey to Phila. I've ridden in the high teens and low twenties.... never had a problem. It's an expensive fix but it works!
I'm in Park City, UT and have ridden my 05 Ultra in 22 deg without chaps, just HD levis. Thighs are fine but my knees chill to the bone. Not sure if tank bra would help you as that would just provide a single layer. I ride about 20 miles and that's tolerable. However, I keep my ultra in the garage at 40 so my tank does not get that cold.
Glad to hear others ride regardless of the temp. Watch out for the black ice. Nice looking scoot!

Forget winterizing! I echo the same comments as the others. Glad to see folks riding the bikes when possible. Cold smold! Dress warm and ride on!
I wear under armor gear. The shirt and pant skins. No problem at all. I throw on a turtle neck with a cotton zip up vest , then the leather jacket.
I wear glove liners then the leather gloves over top. Not cumbersome at all. I throw on a hooded neckwarmer and hit the road like a dog terd.
Let's not confuse riding in the cold with riding in snow, ice, rain, and sleet. I ride all year round cold or not.
I hate hearing people talk about stowing the bike away for the winter and tucking it in until spring. How pathetic! Ride the da*m thing!
Peace!
