Default Security alarm

After the fireworks last night my security system is going off. Went and got the extra fob. Nothing changed. Waited it out till morning. Still acting up. What are my options? Can it be eliminated?

Don’t understand why an HD security alarm would be triggered by Fireworks. But, if your FOB battery is good, and the FOB operational, then in close range to the bike, cycle the ignition.

Cycle the ignition to on while the FOB is in range, then pull the main fuse, let sit 5 min, put fuse back in and see if it resolves the issue. Other than that, check for any codes.

what year is your bike? if your fob is not being recognized, the rushmore bikes will come up with 'enter pin'. speaking of which, you do know your pin?

It is a 2013 ultra. I do not know the pin. I hope it is in the paperwork from when I bought it, used.

You don't need to know the pin to change it as long as you have a working fob near the bike. The pin won't be in any paperwork.

With the fob in range, turn the ignition on and hold in both turn signals for a few seconds and the pin should show in your odometer window, if I remember the procedure correctly.
