Default HD Tie Down Brackets for a Street Glide?

This may be a dumb one, but has anybody used the HD brackets for trailering your Street Glide? I live about 25 miles from the nearest dealers and often need to trailer bikes for service, etc. Are these brackets any good? I have lowers on bike now, so it’s not so easy to tie down around the engine guard without the straps scratching up the lowers.

Are these worth buying? Any opinions are appreciated.

My friends have them on their Street Glides and when I trailer their bikes, I've had no issues. I couldn't use them on my Street Glide because they wouldn't fit behind the Custom Dynamics ProBeam Dynamic Strips LED turn signals. I went with Paul Yaffe Touchless Tie-Down. Bolts right to the frame.

There are other ways to strap your bike for trailering. Use some soft loop straps around the forks and strap it down like shown in the video. That way, you’re not compressing the forks.

Been using soft straps on the fork lowers for years. Don't have to worry about compressing the forks and blowing the seals.

I run these on my 2020 SGS and they work great. Ended up picking up the rear set as well.

Might be overkill, but I use straps on the forks and also on the Harley brackets. The tie down brackets make it much easier to attach/remove the tie down straps when loading or unloading by yourself.
