Default How do I use this Backrest Adjustment?

How do I use this backrest adjustment to move the backrest forward? When I operate the cable nothing happens.

If I remember correctly, the cable should release the back rest to adjust the forward/backward position.

I believe you are correct. And it appears to be all the way forward now...

Thanks

It maybe my imagination or just the way the picture looks, but is the bracket that holds the backrest cushion bent backwards? It looks like it has a curve to it above the factory bend.

Yes that appears to be the way it is made. It does not come forward enough for me.

So I took that “bracket” off and hit it with the big hammer! It comes a little more forward now.

Of course using the big hammer method I broke the spring loaded “****” that you use to adjust the height of the backrest on the bracket.
