Default When a new frame?

Good day. I own a 2014 FLHTK and i'm waiting for a new frame to change my bike. I would like to see a mono dumper on the back and above all riding mode and active sunspension... but every year the only thing I see is a bigger displacement. Not the real thing we need in europe. If I see what other makers are building I start to cry.. Adaptive cruise control, adaptive lights, adaptive sunspensions... oh just see the multistrada, the gs, the ktm, the Tiger.

Well, the inaccurate speculating that THIS year will be the year of the new frame (also don't forget the mono shock) usually begins right around December. Every year. Always wrong.

But I guess we can start a few months early this year, why not?

If you want a new frame and a mono shock, why wait? Put a tour pak on a Heritage, and there you have it.

Just buy a new bike...or don't, and keep riding your old one. Nobody knows when, or what is coming next. Your speculation may be way off.

The new bikes are great!

I fail to see the point of waiting for the next big thing. Ride what you have or build what you want. Those are LITTERARY the only two options if you want to ride.

These new touring bikes HD puts out handle better than most can ride anyway. The vast majority will run out of skill, before the bike runs out of capability.

Sheesh.... They just did a major frame update in 2009, and then beefed up the front end in 2014....

What more could you want....???

Because this is 'Murica and all we care about is giant engines and shi++y gas mileage! You want a bike thats suited for Europe, get a Vespa.

All kidding aside.....part of the allure of a Harley is American nostalgia. Big, loud, wasteful and ostentatious.

Oddly enough...my 2022 SG according to the computer is getting over 60 MPG. Granted I am still in the break in period. My 12 RKC got 42 mpg at best.

I still bet on model year 2024. Several times Harley did a major upgrade to the Tourings a year after anniversary. 1999 - Twincam engine, 2004 - Electronics upgrade, 2009 - New frame, 2014 - Rushmore, 2019 - GTS radio...
