Default Tallboys floorboards and Lindby bars

Got the tallboys custom floorboard extenders on my 22RKS. Not a fan of the chopped engine guard and want to put on a Lindby Linbar. Website says it won’t fit with “extended” floorboards…..not sure this means the same thing.

Anyone out there running Tallboys and Lindby? Any issues?

TIA

I am running them. They are correct they do not fit with the tall boy mounts. However I was unwilling to sacrifice my lowered floorboards or my lindby. Solution that I went with was to cut the pans not the inserts just the pans. Top corner of insert sits on top of the lindby bar. To me it doesn't look bad at all and I get to ride comfortably... If you are interested I can send pics of the setup.

Default Tallboys

But then again I'm running a 12 not a new 22 so I didn't mind chopping things a little bit.

Funny you mention "cutting the boards"......I thought that would be a possible solution, so I bought a pair of used floorboards to do what you suggested a few days ago......to practice on. what did you use to cut them? Mine a black, so I'm trying to figure how to do it, without costing a huge cosmetic issue.

This is one consideration, but I'm open to other ideas.....

I'm still waiting for a response from Lindby, but I doubt they'll advise of anything other than what is posted on the website.

PM with any suggestions if you have them
