Makes me want to polish mine up. Well done! Has anyone found anything to get the black part back to a deep dark black? They seem to turn grey pretty quickly.

HD makes the engine spray to bring the crinkle black back or maybe WD40 would work as well. I have some of the spray and could try it.

I used the rubbing compound on the black and it got rid of the haze. Im very happy with it. Looks like new! Well aluminum is better than it was new.

After pulling front wheel for tire change this week found at 32K front bearing were bad. Also for a scratch down to bear metal about 6 inches long and a small gouge.
Tire on bearing replaced working on cleaning up the scratch and gouge.

I ordered some factory style grips prior to Christmas, they were shipped by UPS Mail Innovations Expedited long story short they finally came in and IMHO the expedited in the Mail innovations is as apt as estates or chateau in a Section 8 community complex name . A quick 5-7 minute install and now hopefully they're good for another 15-16 years.

Hit the rotors with a foam pad and rubbing compound.

I tried the HD engine brightner spray and it definitely pops the black on the wheels but doesn't do much to the places I inadvertently hit with polish when polishing the bare aluminum. I'm going to hit those spots with wd40 and see what happens. Wd40 is an old school way of keeping the crinkle black on the engines brite but it's messy.
