Default rear shocks

recently purchased a 14, CVO Ultra. I have Legend air shocks on my 09 and while they are ok, I dont love them. looking for recommendations for rear suspension. i normally ride 2 up. I would like a lower profile. easier to move around.
thanks in advance.

I switched to Super Shox last year and I dont think it’s possible for me and my wife to be happier. Give them a call, most likely you’ll talk to the owner. Ask questions.

If cost is a consideration properly ordered? 13” Progressive 412 shocks is a huge leap upwards in shock performance and riding comfort over the OEM junk and can be had for a touch over $300.

If you want that lower stance for your bike there are some great name brands of 12" shocks that have as much travel as most 13" shocks. With proper sag set, they'll sit at about 11" when you're sitting on the bike.

I have the Ohlins on my King and for me it's a great pair of riding shocks. I chose Ohlins because of their reputation but there are some others like Pro Action. The Progressive brand mentioned also have 12" shocks with a 3" travel.

13" Super Shox on my bike and had them setup for my weight and riding style. Couldn't be happier.

i think most shocks are going to work the same when set up properly. find a brand you trust and go with it. i had shocks from one brand that were about 8 years old. i called to see about a rebuild and got told nope, too old. the brand i have now said theyll always rebuild theirs and theyve been in business a long time so, i ttust them.

I recently purchased some 13" Bitubos from DK. They set them up and they seem to be working well. Half or even 1/3 the price of these other fancier shocks. Spend the rest of your $$$ on another mod.
