Going to buy the Ness bag extentions for my 01 electroglide but not happy with the look of the wide fender that you can buy with the kit. Im thinking of buying a new streetglide back fender lower piece. I think it would look better and still fill in the gaps between the bags. Just wondering if my 01 fender is the same width as the streetglide fender. Thanks for any info.

 

The ness ones were awful, tried bolting them on and the gaps were something else. They have to be molded on with fiberglass. I went with the www.milwakeebagger.com fender kit. Love it.I had a shop here in Pheonix, AZ. Thought I could do it myself. Good luck.

It should work. Meaning the sg lower part. But I know it is a bit more envolved because your fender isn't clean like the sg or rk custom. I have a list of parts I got off this forum to do the job on my rk custom, if you need them.

I believe I got all the part numbers, anyways. LOL
