Default Wilbers Suspension Question

Those of you with Wilbers, anyone start with just the rear shocks first then add the front later?

I've had Pro-Action and Ohlins on previous bikes. Liked them, but interested in the set it and forget it design of the Wilbers. I bounce a lot from solo to 2-up, to overnight packing.

No experience with Wilber’s except for watching their videos. Looks like a good product.

For me it’s a no brainer to upgrade both front and rear. Do it right and enjoy the ride and handling at it’s best.

I installed the front and rear on mine and don’t regret that at all! I installed the front only on a friend’s FLTP and he loved it ….Bitubo 13s on his rear.

The install is not too difficult if you look at the videos on YouTube you’ll get a good idea of how to proceed

Also interested. I have considered calling or emailing Wilbers USA but will not do so until I decide to spend the money. And then I am just verifying the warrantee and return policies.

I like the concept and apparently this technology has been around for cars for a long time. But I already have spent the money on Legends ARC for the rear, and DK Customs Intimators and springs for the front.

Not Wilbers but I have done rears then fronts with Legend. There were huge gains and nothing adverse. I've done this a few times..

To clarify my previous post, I did install the rear LDC Nivomat rear shocks first at 12200 miles during April 2021, they replaced a set of Bitubo shocks and it was a great improvement.
I rode 2000 miles and was really impressed particularly when my girlfriend got on too. I only weigh 130 and my biggest concern was how they felt when I was alone because no Harley shock performed well as I couldn’t compress the springs. Brian at Wilbur’s wasn’t sure how well they’d work at my weight either but I’ll tell you they are great, I don’t ever bottom out.
By August I knew I wanted the front springs too and at 14450 miles I replaced the front springs too. That was a great $245 investment.
What bothered me most on the front stock springs was when riding over highway expansion joints, the Zero friction springs smoothed those out too.
Just got back from a solo trip to Daytona with tour pack loaded and never had to touch the shocks with the heavy weight loaded in the pack and on the seat behind me!
