You don't know if it walked yet. Amazon has cheap race pullers. Baker makes a one piece bearing with race. Failed for me too.

I just did all this on my 2010, I went in to my local dealer with all the individual part numbers for bolts/gaskets/orings and the parts manager stopped me mid sentence and walked to the back and came out with a whole package with every single seal, gasket and non-reusable bolt I needed all sealed in 1 package. It had a HD part number so I assume they have something for your year. He called it an "inner primary kit". No bearings included and didn't come with the large cover gasket either.

That is interesting usually it has this $$ gasket in the kit, and people buy it cause they don't know they can reuse. Though if this is the orginal gasket I would probably replace.
Not alot in this year, the bolts, the gasket up front to engine, bearing, OIl seal for tranny shaft which will probably come with the bearing.

Its not like the 5 speeds which had a little more.

Do you recall what you paid for it and I am wanting to get a sealed upgraded clutch bearing so I can do away with this race I am going to have to cut off

Sealed clutch bearing?

Not a bad time to rebuild clutch. Around 55k I did replace clutch bearing. But the primary is bigger concern to me. I forget the actual names

CYCO sells a primary kit; not sure what all is included but good quality and cheaper than HD or Cometic. The OEM IPB and race are the best replacement parts IMHO for this repair. A little bit of Loctite 680 will secure the IPB race to the mainshaft; it will not walk in again. Agree that all seals behind the sprocket should be replace. The mainshaft/5th gear seal is a PITA to remove; patience required. I don't recall if the bolts that secure the inner primary to the case are the ones with the rubber seal; forget which year the MoCo made that change but if they are, they should be replaced. A large retaining ring tool is necessary to R/R the IPB retaining ring. Good luck with the project.

Just fyi, if the race did walk in instead of cutting it off you can pull the clutch cover off the opposite side of the transmission from the primary, back off the nut on the main transmission shaft and give it a tap that will give you the room for the puller to be installed
