We pack as light and compact as possible. The cover stays home. A rag takes up a whole lot less space.

I always take one of my covers, no matter which bike I'm traveling on. Most of the time I take the Half Cover by Dowco, http://www.motodepot.com/product_det...1&sku=3734
Packs light and small, covers the seat, fairing and trunk, easy on and off. Have the Dowco full cover also....no Harley LOGO covers....too much advertising.
The half cover works great....keeps thieves away, also the temptation for others to sit on the bike, small kids etc....some people have no respect for others property anymore and the half cover is cheep insurance.

+1 to all the replies.
Besides, everybody knows how ugly the RG is, so putting a bag over it's head helps out.
Ma taught me never ta argue with a feller when he's right....

Bein' the rider of a REAL m/c artpiece that the UC is acknowledged ta be, ah always cover it - keeps the wimmen from swarmin' mah room.

Oh - it also keeps the curious (an' kids) from bein' tempted ta sit on it.(yeah, they will - grrrrr)

Recommend the full cover without the logo. Might deter would be thiefs and keep the rain off. Spray paint a Honda logo on it and you know noone will touch it.

Ride safe,

I cover my machine with a good cotton HD cover over the winter in my garage to keep the wife's cat off the bike. On the road I haven't used one yet - although I'm considering buying a cheap Honda cover for those prying eyes.

I always take mine with me on trip.It is he EXIGENT not the HD. Takes a lot less room and IMO works very well as a rain and out of evil eyes!
