Default Stage 1 Question

Ok, picked up a stage one AC last night. Installed the slip-ons at the 1,000 mi service. Ordered mySERT and CD from Zanotties this morning. Can anybody tell me how long it should take for my SERT to ship? I love saving a buck with internet orders but waiting on parts sucks!

I talked to Zanotti 2 weeks ago and that had SERT's in stock for the 08's. Oc course a lot can happen in 2 weeks.

If they have it in stock usually in 4-5 days before it gets to you. Are you doing it yourself? A lot of dealers won't install parts not bought from them.

I'm doing the install. From what I've read here there isn't much to it. The slip-ons are Screamin Eagle and so is the air cleaner so I'm guessing the canned map should be close enough for now.

Can anybody recomend a good dyno tuner in the northern Va. area?

Not exactly NOVA, but in Winchester there is Skips Cycles. His reputation is solid. You should ride up on a nice day and talk to them. Skip did the tuning on my 02 RKC and I was very happy. One thing he did was he set A/F ratio differently rather than a satic 13.1 as most tuners do. He tuned one ratio for idle so bike would not overheat in traffic, one for cruise and on for full throttle.
