Default Thunderheaders without Baffles

Dear Friends:

Do you know someone who has removed the baffles of there Thunderheader Exhaust?

I made a research about this brand pipes without bafflesand found guys that made that modifications and they are very happy with the results.
More sound and torque they said.

I just want to know if someone in this forum made that experiment.

In order to remove the baffle from a TH, you have to cut the rear part of the cone off, grind tha baffle out, weld the cone back on, and then re-chrome it. Sounds like a pain in the *** to me! But if you are looking for loud and hight HP numbers, just find a White Bros. E series and remove all of the guts via one bolt and leave the end cap off. That leaves you a 2 - 1 header going into a giant megophone. LTF, and runs great on the top end.

I don't know why eny one would do that, would kill the tq and ruin the pipe and the reason they are $900, seems to make more sense to buy a cheeper set of pipes and gut them if you want just turns them into a set of two into one drag pipes.
